Day 11 (cont.) - The Hermitage, St. Petersburg

The magnificent Hermitage.

This palace was built for the many paintings that Catherine the Great acquired during her reign.




This is a peacock clock.







The face of the clock is on a small mushroom in front of the peacock's perch.
