Sting's "We'll Be Together" wins MTV Music Video award 1988

Sting's official video for We'll Be Together won an MTV Music Video award for Best Cinematography September 7, 1988 at the Universal Amphitheatre in Los Angeles, California.  His wife Trudie Styler appeared in the video with him. It was nominated for Best Choreography (the dancer in the nautical hat is sexy af!), but lost to Janet Jackson's The Pleasure Principle, which was choreographed by the same  guy, Barry Lather.

We'll Be Together was the first single (and my favorite song) released from his second studio album ...Nothing Like the Sun.  Eric Clapton played electric guitar, Branford Marsalis on saxophone and Annie Lennox provided some of the background vocals.
