Peter Boyle won a Primetime Emmy for his role as Clyde Bruckman on the X-Files episode Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose, September 8, 1996. Boyle played a psychic who could see people's death. At the end of the episode, Bruckman commits suicide.
Gillian Anderson and David Duchovny appeared as FBI agents Scully and Mulder.
