Goddess of the arts Rita Moreno won her second Primetime Emmy Award September 17, 1978, for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama for her performance on the Rockford Files, which starred James Garner.
She had already won an Oscar in 1961, a Grammy in 1973 and a Tony in 1975. Her first Emmy came in 1977, making her the first performer to win the Grand Slam of awards.
