Dolly Parton, born January 19, 1946 in Pittman Center, Tennessee, is a singer, songwriter, actress, and humanitarian. She is probably best known for her work in country music. She started her career on the Porter Wagoner Show, which I remember watching.
She has won more country music awards and Hall of Fame honors than anybody else in history. There was an opinion published on cnn.com, which said just make Dolly Queen of the World.
