"Amadeus" wins four Golden Globes 1985


Amadeus, the movie about the conflict between Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Antonio Salieri, won three Golden Globe awards at the 42nd ceremony, January 26, 1985.

It won Best Motion Picture - Drama.  F. Murray Abraham won Best Actor Performance in a Motion Picture - Drama.  Milos Forman won Best Director and Peter Shaffer won for Best Screenplay.

Tom Hulce was also nominated for Best Actor for his role as Mozart and Jeffrey Jones was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Emperor Joseph II.
