The Bayside Boys remix of Macarena by Los Del Rio reaches #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and stays there for a record of 14 weeks. It was originally recorded in 1992 and Los Del Rio recorded six versions. It was released in the U.S. in 1995.
VH1 ranked it as #1 of the Greatest One-Hit Wonders of all Time. Its record-setting run at #1 stayed in place for 15 years, when Adele's Rolling in the Deep surpassed it.
