Kevis's First Trip to Washington, DC

Our nephew Kevis came up from Atlanta to visit us, his first trip to Washington, DC. So we took him to do the touristy things.

Sometimes, he's too cool for school. He CAN smile. On occasion.

But it usually takes bribery.

Don't quiz him on the what the monuments are, though.

Wow, what a lucky nephew!! I'll never forget my one and only trip to DC. It was to visit my uncle, too! It was amazing. Luckily my mom had just bought me a camera so I can still re-live my trip. But I don't know why they call it "The Washington Monument." It looks nothing like him.

I think you have to squint your eyes and hold your head to one side to see the resemblance between monument and president! LOL Kevis swears that he is coming back this summer when school is out. We told him we would believe that when he calls us from the airport!

I remember my first trip to DC as a young lad. It made quite an impression on me. I'll bet your nephew dug it and appreciated you more than even he knows.

West, I think he really did enjoy it, even though he was too cool to say anything. He insists that he's coming up for the summer, and we would be so happy to have him. He may be back up here earlier for different reasons if he doesn't stop giving his grandmother attitude. Know what I mean? ;)
