The Bee Gees' single Too Much Heaven reached #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 January 6, 1979. They performed it for Music for UNICEF on January 9 and released on their Spirits Having Flown album, their 13th studio album. The single went double platinum in the US.
Too Much Heaven was the theme for my junior/senior prom when I was a junior.
