Toho Company released "Terror of Mechagodzilla" March 15, 1975, although it would be two more years before American audiences could see it. According to imdb.com, it was the last time Godzilla is featured as a hero until Godzilla: Final Wars, but looking at the list of movies that followed, the G-Man was a hero in several of them: "Godzilla vs. Biollante", "Godzilla vs. Space Godzilla", Godzilla vs. Destroyah". I'm looking forward to "Godzilla Resurgence" later this year!
