Vacation Time! Arriving in Palm Springs

We got to Palm Springs earlier than we expected that day. Our flights from Baltimore to Chicago and then to Los Angeles went without a hitch and we drove to Palm Springs, which, in some aspects, is a step back in time. Many of the motels along Palm Canyon Drive are the 2-story motor inns, where all the doors open to the outside with the swimming pool adjacent to the parking lot.

The views from our motel room were stunning. The desert has its own style of beauty!
