The Twilight Zone episode "Nothing in the Dark" airs 1962
The sixteenth episode of the third season of The Twilight Zone, Nothing in the Dark, aired January 5, 1962. It starred a wonderful Gladys Cooper (a veteran of 3 Twilight Zone episodes) and an impossibly handsome Robert Redford.
Cooper plays an old woman who has been cheating death for years, so when a wounded policeman (Redford) appears on her doorstep, she's afraid to let him in for fear he may be Mr. Death.
As usual with The Twilight Zone and Rod Serling, the dialogue is thought-provoking, poignant and blunt. It gets the watcher thinking about their own notions and fears of death.
