Everyone's favorite spooky family, The Addams Family, premiered on television September 18, 1964. Based on the comic strip drawn by Charles Adams, it starred Carolyn Jones as Morticia Addams and John Astin as her husband Gomez.
Although it ran for only two seasons, it has gained a cult following and its theme song written by Vic Mizzy, is one of the catchiest tunes of all time.
