Happy birthday, Space Shuttle astronaut Stephen Frick!
Stephen Frick, born September 30, 1964 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, is a veteran of two space shuttle flights.
His first mission was aboard Atlantis (STS-110) as pilot in April 2002 to the International Space Station. The main purpose of the mission was to attach a stainless steel truss to the Destiny Laboratory Module.
His second and final mission was aboard Atlantis (STS-122) was as commander in February 2008 to the ISS. His total amount of time in space is almost 24 days.
He retired in 2015.
