Connor Trinneer, born March 19, 1969 in Walla Walla, Washington, is best known for his role as Commander Charles 'Trip' Tucker III in Star Trek: Enterprise. He was nominated twice for a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Television Series.

The 24th episode of the second season of Star Trek (TOS), The Ultimate Computer, aired March 8, 1968. The crew of the Enterprise is ordered to test an artificial intelligence computer, the M-5 Multitronic system. Star Fleet is considering having the M-5 computer replacing crews on star ships.
What could possibly go wrong?
The computer goes berserk and starts attacking everything. Captain Kirk has to talk the computer down, which he did several times during the series.
The episode stands out in a couple of ways. First, it contained most number of galaxy-class starships in one episode - five: Enterprise, Lexington, Potemkin, Excalibur, and Hood.
Second, it was considered ground-breaking in casting an African-American actor, William Marshall (as Dr. Richard Daystrom), as the Nobel-prize-winning black cyberneticist. During the era of Martin Luther King and Civil Rights, it was important to have a white captain deferring to a black man. Marshall said that he, as an African-American, was referred to as "sir" throughout the episode.

He played Commander Shran in Star Trek: Enterprise so well that the producers said if the show had been renewed for a fifth season, he would have been made a regular. He appeared in one episode of Star Trek: Voyager. He played Weyoun, a liaison from the Dominion, in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Astronaut C. Gordon Fullerton, born October 11, 1936 in Rochester, New York, went into space twice.
He served on support crews for Apollo 14, 15, 16 and 17. Later he was part of two-man crews which piloted the Space Shuttle Enterprise during the Approach and Landing tests.
His first trip into space was aboard Columbia (STS-3) as pilot in March 1982. The main objective of the mission was to continue testing the Canadarm manipulator system.
His second and final flight was aboard Challenger (STS-51-F) as commander in July-August 1985. The primary payload was Spacelab 2.
Fullerton passed away in August 2013 from complications from a stroke he suffered in 2009.

But he is more affectionately known as Captain Jonathan Archer in Star Trek: Enterprise.
Mirror, Mirror, the fourth episode of the second season of Star Trek (the original series) first aired October 6, 1967, one of the best episodes of the series. A transporter malfunction sends Captain Kirk (William Shatner), Dr. McCoy (DeForest Kelly), Scotty (James Doohan) and Lieutenant Uhura (Nichelle Nichols) into an alternate universe where they find the Enterprise is run by barbarians (the crew's counterparts), where they advance by murdering superior officers.
It has spawned episodes in Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Star Trek: Enterprise.
Linda Park, born July 9, 1978 in South Korea, is best known in the Star Trek world as Ensign (later Lieutenant) Hoshi Sato on the series Star Trek: Enterprise. She had a minor role in Jurassic Park III.
Richard Truly, born November 12, 1937 in Fayette, Mississippi, flew on two space shuttle missions at the beginning of the program.
He started as a test pilot for the Enterprise's take-offs and landings. He first went into space on Columbia (STS-2) on his birthday in 1981 with Joe Engle.
His second trip was on Challenger (STS-8) as commander in August-September 1983. This was the first flight for African-American astronaut Guy Bluford,
He served as NASA's Administrator for 1989 to 1992, during which time he commanded Voyager 1 to take one last picture of Earth before its mission ended. The pic has become known as the Pale Blue Dot photograph.
To the delight of Trekkies everywhere, Engineer Montgomery "Scotty" Scott appeared in Relics an episode of Star Trek: The Next Generation. The USS Enterprise discovers a Dyson Sphere, and find a missing transport ship, the USS Jenolan. They find a diagnostic loop in the ship's transporter buffer that has allowed Scotty survive for 75 years.
Scotty struggles to fit into the future and catch up on the last 75 years, but manages to prove that he is still useful.
The Space Shuttle Enterprise made her fifth and final successful flight October 26, 1977. She was piloted by Fred Haise (Apollo 13) and Gordon Fullerton (STS-3, STS-51-F). She also landed on the concrete runway at Edwards AFB instead of a dry lakebed runway.
Her successful missions paved the way for future space shuttle missions.
Anthony Montgomery, born June 2, 1971, is best known to us Trekkies as Ensign Travis Mayweather on Star Trek: Enterprise. He auditioned for a regular part on Star Trek: Voyager but didn't get it. He was brought back to audition for Tuvok's son for an episode of Star Trek: Voyager, didn't get it.
He was remembered for those auditions and brought in for Star Trek: Enterprise, which he got!
