"Godzilla 1985" released 1984

Godzilla 1985, released December 15, 1984 in Japan, was a reboot of the series starring Raymond Burr, who appeared in the Americanized version of the original in 1954.  He reprises his role as Steve Martin from the 1956 version. Akihiko Hirata, who had appeared in many Godzilla movies, wanted to have at least a cameo in the movie, but passed away before he could.

I haven't seen this one, but it is on my bucket list.

"Rear Window" released 1954

Alfred Hitchcock's masterpiece Rear Window, starring James Stewart, Grace Kelly and Raymond Burr, was released across the US September 1, 1954.  It premiered in Los Angeles, New York City and Atlantic City in August.  It is considered by many people to be Hitchcock's best movie.

It was nominated for four Academy Awards.  The National Film Registry of the Library of Congress was selected for preservation as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".

The American Film Institute has included Rear Window as #42 in its 100 Years...100 Movies; #14 in AFI's 100 years...100 Thrills; and #3 in AFI's Top 10 Mysteries.
