Controversial and hilarious British sitcom Absolutely Fabulous aired its first episode Fashion November 12, 1992. Jennifer Saunders wrote and starred in the series as Edina Monsoon. Joanna Lumley played her best friend Patsy Stone. The show followed their completely hedonistic lifestyles and their misadventures.
Saunders expanded a sketch from her comedy show French and Saunders with Dawn French.
