Joshua Tree National Park, California
Our last day in California, we drove through the Joshua Tree National Park.
Fuzzy and some very large rocks.
Skull Rock.
The higher desert, the Mojave, has more rain and therefore more Joshua trees than the lower, drier desert, the Colorado.
The San Andreas fault.
The single road winds its way through the Colorado Desert into the distance.
The Cholla Cactus garden.
These cute little fellas didn't seem to mind the heat, but this one appreciated the shade. After I walked away, he stretched out for a respite.
Ocotillo patch.
